Migrating Mazes - Limited Edition Fine Art Print | Theodora Songhai

from £45.00

A limited edition fine art print from Flight, the debut collection of Edinburgh-based artist, writer, and theologian Theodora Songhai.

Each print is produced on Hahnemühle Agave 290gsm - a textured, eco-friendly fine art paper made from agave plant fibres, chosen for the way its surface echoes the layered, tactile quality of Songhai's original collages. Prints are bordered, mounted, and wrapped in biodegradable packaging.

Every print includes an Art Sure Certificate of Authenticity from The Fine Art Trade Guild, an embossed studio stamp, and is hand-signed and numbered by the artist. Edition size: 50.

These works were made in 2022–2023 during a period of homelessness in London - with scissors, glue, and magazines, on a futon, in a friend's study. They are small in scale by design: a deliberate political statement about who gets to make art, and under what conditions.

Shipping: Ships from London. UK delivery only at this time.

Migrating in MazesThe labyrinth is not a trap. It is the experience of migration rendered honestly — the disorientation of navigating systems and spaces not designed with you in mind, finding paths through the unfamiliar by persistence rather than certainty. The bird does not soar here. It moves through. That is enough.
